Please do upgrade the plugin. You will find a checkbox called “close announcement on click”. You can use that to achieve your above request.

Hi Alex,

Like we discussed in email, the issue is caused by the theme and the file is – https://149516091.v2.pressablecdn.com/wp-content/themes/uncode/library/js/app.js?ver=448492905

It is pretty bad that the theme is wildly looking for any tag for a countdown.
This is something which the theme developers should handle/fix.

You can share below screenshot as in email with them and say that selecting [data-countdown] without any class name is causing issues with other plugins. They should not be doing like this.

For now, I have renamed certain announcer ids to get over the above issue.
The countdown is now working. Please do a ctrl+f5 to refresh.

Just to note that when you update the announcer pro plugin, the changes might get overwritten.

Can you please share the page for checking it live ?

Also can you please hard refresh the page by pressing ctrl+F5.
Possibly the old script is used.

Also the text value is used to change the label. It is not possible to show specific property. This is because I had seen people use full counter with days, mins, hrs, secs.

Since right now you require only days, please use below CSS as workaround to show only days.
I’ll add an option for this in the next version.

I believe the downloaded ZIP file is corrupted. Can you please check if you can extract/open the zip file you downloaded on your PC ?

If not please do try downloading again.

If you are able to extract the file but if issue happens only after uploading, then possibly some space issue in your server to extract the files.

Other way is to extract the folder and use FTP to upload the folder as a whole.

If issue persists, please email me the zip file to aakash.19493 [at] gmail.com for my analysis.

It does seem pretty common please do see if any of the results below help.

Currently that option is not available out of the box.

But if you can install this simple plugin which supports duplicating posts, pages and even “announcements” !

That is strange. Only with debugging enabled I can find out the eact issue. I’m not able to see the issue on my side.

One thing I notice is that the single quote is a special character.
Not sure if wordpress/or any plugin is catching it as a security threat.

Please use the code below where the script has the normal single quote.
