Great. Also, please try inserting shortcodes directly without a pattern and see if it executes. That can help narrow down the issue further.

The first step would be to check with the theme developer and tell them that the shortcodes are not executed on the homepage.

Since it is working in the contact page, most probably it is not executing shortcodes due to a bug or some config with patterns.

Just to narrow down the issue, instead of WP Socializer shortcode, can u pls type an inbuilt shortcode?

like [caption]Hello[/caption]? does it work or display the code as is?

    Thanks,

    Hi,
Thanks for using WP Socializer. There is no change in WP Socializer related to shortcodes.

It looks like the shortcode is not “executed” by your theme or by WordPress.

Can you please try inserting it in the shortcode block instead of paragraph?

    Thanks,
    Aakash

    Hi @drcwp,

Thanks for confirming. I’m glad it is helping you.

It looks like the changes need some time to implement and test to pick a nested folder.

I’ll ensure this is addressed in the next version of the plugin.

    Thanks,
    Aakash

    Hi Valerie,

That is not expected. Can you please press Ctrl+Shift+J and then click the button?

Does the console tab show any error?
Can you also check the “network” tab? Do you see any errors?

May be some temporary issue with dismissing the changelog information.

    Thanks,
    Aakash

    Hi @drcwp,

Thanks for sharing the details. I looked at the code and it seems there is a change in Github API on how it returns nested folders.

Since you have provided docs/en it is unable to navigate with the new API.

I’ll share a quick workaround tomorrow and address this in the next version of the plugin.

    Thanks,

    Hi Laurens,

    Thanks for checking our product.

We can pay using credit card in PayPal. In paypal pay, you can find the option “Pay with debit or credit card” button like below.

The same option should be seen on mobile too.
Can you please retry and let me know?

Please share screenshot if in case I didn’t understand your issue.

    Thanks,

    Hi @drcwp,

There is no restriction for local installation.

Can you please check the following?

    1) Github username and repo names are correct
    2) Branch name is correct
    3) Folder to publish from is valid
    4) Check if the repository is public/private. If private, please enter the credentials in Git it write -> “general settings” section.

If everything looks good, then can you please share the repo details? I’ll try to repro the issue on my end.

    Thanks,
    Aakash

    Hi @allegator,

The error 403 means that the RSS server is prohibiting/blocked access to the RSS feed.

It could be some configuration issue or a mistake. If possible, please check with the feed owner if there are any specific restrictions placed.

An alternate would be to create a proxy for the RSS feed using feedburner – https://feedburner.google.com/

Enter the RSS feed URL and copy the feedburner URL. That should help resolve this issue.

    Thanks,
    Aakash

    Hi,

You can configure the schedule timeframe in Announcement settings –> Display

Set “Display the announcement” to “Schedule” and “Schedule duration” to the datetime range.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I can see 2 announcements on the page. One with immediate display and other with scheduled display.

Can you please check the announcement ID and confirm the display types?

Do you have any WordPress cache enabled? If yes can you please try after clearing it? May be we are looking at cached page.

    Thanks,
    Aakash

    Hi Sayn,

    I looked at your website.

The issue is not with the timezone. You have configured “schedule” display between March 2024 and November 2024.

Please set to display “immediately” under Display -> “Display the announcement”

    Thanks,
    Aakash
