I’m receiving the following error from my Cloudways (autonomous plan) error logs… about every 30 seconds or so.

NOTICE: PHP message: PHP Warning: Undefined array key “thumbnail_type” in /var/www/html/public_html/wp-content/plugins/super-rss-reader/includes/widget-admin.php on line 73

I don’t really see anything happening on the front-end though, so much for you to see there – it’s generating the jobs listings under the “Wine Industry Careers” section, on right-hand-column of this homepage – https://wineindustryadvisor.com – it was placed using Elementor.

    Hi Nick,

Thanks for using Super RSS Reader plugin. If you are using widget, can you please open the widget and click save (if button is disabled, pls change some field)? That should get rid of this message.

    Thanks,
    Aakash

It’s not placed as a “wordpress widget”. It’s an Elementor element placed on the sidebar.

There is no save button, there’s only an “Apply” button that says “Update changes to page”. Changing settings does not trigger a “Save” button to appear.

Any update from my response? I’m still constantly receiving the errors.

    Hi Nick,

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I meant the save/apply button.

I idea is to just change something in the widget and click save/apply so that the form data is saved again. This should not throw the warning message in the logs.

Please let me know if it worked.

    Thanks,
    Aakash

    Hi Aakash,

Yes, I have tried changing just about every setting and then clicking save, nothing changes this error.

    Hi Nick,

Thats strange. The file being pointed is “widget-admin” /includes/widget-admin.php which is supposed to be called only on admin side.

Can you please temporarily revert back to the previous version while I check this issue?

    https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/super-rss-reader.5.2.zip

You can deactivate and delete the current version 5.3 and install 5.2. Your widgets will remain the same.

    Thanks,
    Aakash

    Hi,

Yes. I just deactivated and removed v5.3

v5.2 is now installed and activated. Widgets are indeed the same.

The errors have stopped as well.

    Hi Nick,

Thanks for confirming. I’ll find the RC of this issue and address this in the next version of the plugin.

    Thanks,
    Aakash
