AakashKeymasterIt can be due to some caching effects also… not sure why, but the parameters will be replaces as expected. Thank you.
AakashKeymasterHello, I’m sure that there is a problem in your side.
You are using the
tag from the “Post title”. If you notice, even the “Sexybookmarks” plugin traces the same title with the
tag. So there is a problem in your side. Check the theme instead or any plugin conflicting. Thank you.
AakashKeymasterThis parameter symbol is now changed to %% instead of %.
I think this is the permanent solution for this problem. This will avoid clashes with the native HTML codes.
This is added in the Shortcoder v3.1 Just download/update to it.

AakashKeymasterCan you please explain the problem in detail ??? please give the site URL for more details….
AakashKeymasterYou can use the WP Socializer widget in the “widgets” page.
AakashKeymasterI think you need the ‘Shortcoder” admin page file being available to post “Authors” of the site.
If yes, do the following.
– Open the file shortcoder/shortcoder.php
– Replace
manage_options inline 29 withmoderate_comments– Save the file.
I’ve not tested this. But it should work.

My site is: http://www.makemac.com/ (located at the end of sidebar), my settings: 4 post visible, with ticker set to 2.
Thank you, great Plugin mate. Hoping to get the ticker animation works.
The main Javascript for the “ticker” animation is not loaded at all in the site.
There is a problem with your theme.
I think it is not having the “wp_head()” function in the “header.php” file.
Or else, temporarily switch to another theme and check whether it works.
Necessary actions are used to print the ticker animation JS files, but none are in the theme. Please check that.
AakashKeymasterHello,
I too heard that the “%” symbol is clashing with the content of the shortcode. Ill soon change it in the next version.
AakashKeymasterTry using the “TwentyEleven” theme (for testing purpose) and check whether it appears there. After that revert it to the original theme.
AakashKeymasterAre you sure this issue is due to WP Socializer ??? I am wondering why WP Socializer creates. Because there is no need for the plugin interfere there and there is no provision for made for that.
Are you using Widgets for the contact form ??? What do you mean by “it seems to have forced it off the page”
WP Socializer uses the normal API as per WordPress. If other widgets work, then WPSR should also work.
AakashKeymasterPlease get the required icons you need and reply back.
AakashKeymasterCan you please be specific in your problem ?
AakashKeymasterEven the plugin uses the function to print the announcement in the home page. It should work on every page.
AakashKeymasterHello,
Merging feeds is a good idea, but it takes time to test and implement them. I am working on this feature as many people also request this.
AakashKeymasterHappy to see that Works…
Also flush the home page cache as I am able to see the old page with the float bar at the bottom.
Cheers 🙂
