I have the following shortcode defined. Originally it was more complicated but I reduced it to the simplest form. At each iteration of simplifying the shortcode I always get

<!-- Shortcode does not exist -->

I am calling it like this 

[sc name="mnk" href="#bob" name="Smith"]

I am using the Elementor page builder, but I have tried this on non elementor pages. Below is the shortcode definition.

[sc name="mnk"][/sc]

Hi Gary,

Looks like you have a custom parameter named “name” i.e name="Smith".

Please use a custom parameter other than name, since it is used to invoke the shortcode.
