Hi Team,

I have just installed your plugin earlier to my website and it is looking smooth to use and the frontend layout is totally awesome.

But there is a problem with the share count that is not working at all. This totally annoys us!

Here is the URL ‘https://uniqaya.com/blogs/collagen-for-your-skin-healthy-or-hype/’ of our blog which has been share twice but results in return zero. Please see the screenshots for references: https://prnt.sc/117y1ch , https://prnt.sc/117y28d

Why the total share counter of this plugin is not working on our website, please check and let us know.

Hi Kamal,

Thanks for using WP Socializer.
Can you please confirm if you have entered facebook app ID and secret in WP Socializer -> Settings page ?

If you have entered it correctly then share count should get updated in a day.

How is this possible as we have shared the blogs on Facebook from 2 different accounts?

So the ‘Share and Enjoy’ concept is only for display purposes only on the plugin frontend?

Is this making any sense?

Why the share count is not working? I am totally surprised…

Please help so it will display the share counts on the website frontend.

Hi Kamal,

Looks like you have two URLs for the same post

https://uniqaya.com/blogs/collagen-for-your-skin/ – Facebook count is 0
https://uniqaya.com/blogs/collagen-for-your-skin-healthy-or-hype/ – Facebook count is 2

https://uniqaya.com/blogs/collagen-for-your-skin-healthy-or-hype/ gets redirected to https://uniqaya.com/blogs/collagen-for-your-skin/

WP Socializer asks facebook for the share/like count.
So in this case https://uniqaya.com/blogs/collagen-for-your-skin/ is the final page and it’s share count is 0.

Yeah, you are right as I have discussed with my team and the seo person has changed the URL for searching purposes.

So Know we will again share the post with your plugin and if the results not reflect then we will get back to you soon.

And again the share count doesn’t work at all. Share count shows zero as always. What is going on can’t understand?

Hi Kamal,

I can see that the page is liked 1 time.

From WP Socializer side, we cache the share count.
I think that is the reason why share count is still showing old count.

By default, the counts are cached for 1 day.
Lets check the count tomorrow morning.

If it is still not shown, then I need your help where you need to create a temporary administrator user and share the username and password via my contact form.
