ParticipantSince updating to WordPress 6.9 I’m getting a critical error caused by the Super RSS Reader plugin – when disabled the error disappears and site returns to normal (minus the feeds). I love the plugin and hope someone can provide a solution to this issue. The current version of the plugin 5.3 has not been tested with WordPress 6.9 so perhaps that’s where the problem lies

AakashKeymasterHi Everyone,
Sorry for the inconvience caused. I’m working on testing Super RSS Reader compatibility with latest version of WordPress 6.9
Meantime can you please temporarily disable “thumbnails”?
Thanks,

ParticipantKash’s products are usually bullet-proof, at least as much of the products like this are on the web.
The ‘disable thumbnail’ fix worked on my site with the free version. On my paid version sites, I restored my WordPress install using a backup tool on my host, Siteground which worked way easy. The last update for me was Dec 3 at 2.55 PM. Not sure what timezone that is. Maybe Eastern Standard.
I also set my WordPress to no new upgrades for the time being.
Best I can do with my limited skills here.

AakashKeymasterHi Everyone,
The crash issue is RESOLVED in the latest version v5.4 of the plugin. Please update the plugin to this version.
My apologizes for the inconvenience caused!
Please enable the thumbnail feature again. I have given possible test coverage with the latest version. If there are any issues, please update here.
Thanks,
Aakash

ParticipantThanks. 5.4 not yet available to install for me as an update, hopefully it will be soon (have installed the devloper license key on all my sites, of course).

[email protected]ParticipantI updated to v5.4 and I can at least access the page with my feeds while the plugin is activated, but all of my feeds are now lost. What can I do to recover it or must I reconstruct all my feeds now (which will take me forever)? Thanks

ParticipantHow did you upgrade to 5.4? I can’t download it from here (even though I have a valid license) and my websites don’t yet have an upgrade option.

ParticipantHaving this issue with the PRO version of the plugin as well
