Once you’re deep into the endgame, it’s all about doing the right stuff at the right time. If you’re ever unsure where to start, the revamped Helltide is the go-to. It’s packed with mobs everywhere you turn, and in World Tier 4 it never stops running. You’ll be pulling in piles of Forgotten Souls, which you’re going to burn through for enchanting, and scooping up Aberrant Cinders to crack open those fancy chests. The new Blood Maiden event is the real highlight — stack up Baneful Hearts, summon her, and it’s basically raining top-tier loot. Honestly, you could just park yourself in Helltide and you’d be swimming in legendaries, crafting mats, and even Diablo 4 Items before you know it.

From there, Nightmare Dungeons are where you should be spending a lot of time. Sure, loot’s decent, but the real reason is they’re the only way to level Glyphs. Those little boosts make a huge difference to your power. The trick is picking dungeons that are quick and straightforward. Places like Uldur’s Cave, Ghoa Ruins, and Jalal’s Vigil are still great picks — solid density, no winding maps, and no annoying ‘carry-this-object’ type objectives slowing you down. Get in, clear fast, kill the boss, grab your rewards, and reset. Speed here means more Glyph XP and more loot in the same amount of time.

Once you’ve got your build ironed out and gear tempered, The Pit of Artificers becomes your next big grind. This is where you get the rare Masterworking mats — Obducite, Ingolith, and Neathiron — to push gear past its limits. Don’t get hung up on pushing to the highest tier possible if it’s taking ages to clear. You’re better off picking a tier you can smash in three to four minutes. It’s simple: more runs in less time equals more mats per hour. Higher tiers are cool for showing off or snagging Stygian Stones for Tormented bosses, but they’re not always the most efficient for farming.

The smartest farming happens when you’re doubling up on goals. Running a Nightmare Dungeon in a zone with an active Tree of Whispers bounty means you’re racking up Glyph XP and earning a Whispering Cache without extra effort. Same deal with World Bosses or Legion Events — if they pop on the map, it’s usually worth dropping what you’re doing. They’re quick, they give solid loot, a chunk of Obols, and help finish Whispers tasks. It’s all about layering activities so you’re hitting multiple rewards at once. That’s how you squeeze the most out of your time and, if you’re serious about gearing up for top-end content, that’s how you’ll afford to buy Diablo 4 gold or whatever else you need to keep progressing.
