Undefined??

Postby dragonrider » Wed Nov 17, 2010 3:52 pm

Hi, EXCELLENT application! Easy to setup/install, very delighted with it, thank you so much.

However, got a little issue which means I've probably missed including a specific XML line in that in between the Title and the description, I've got an underlined "undefined" which I don't know what that should be?

I've got title, description and link descriptors so I'm not at all sure which I'm missing, any ideas please? This particular site is not yet live so can't show a link yet, sorry.

It can be due to wrong tagging in the XML file.
The only solution is to revise your XML file once again and adding it to "Feedburner". When you give the xml file to feedburner, it automatically corrects the errors and makes it good.

You will get a new address for the XML file. Now you can use that address as your XML file URL.
For more clarification visit feedburner help center.

This will be the correct solution ! i suppose

HI vaakash,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I still don't know what I did to fix but I re-created the swf file using the setup wizard, pasted the resulting code into a page and it worked perfectly. All it needs now is the option to open in same window or a new window depending if the links are internal or external to the site.

You can see the result here http://moorfieldschool.co.uk and it's on the home page. Thanks again for an excellent piece of software, ideal for a charity website.

Currently it is not possible to change the open type (target) of the link. All the links in the reader by default will open links in new window. Future versions can have this future.

Thanks for your appreciations !
