Will the Google +1 button/function be added anytime soon?

The next version has google +1 button. But if you want in version 1, then
Use this code in the template (Template 1 or template 2 directly)

<g:plusone></g:plusone>

It will work. The next version has a button code for the button, so until the next release you can use this script.

I am trying to use both the WPSocializer and the Google +1 plugin together on my site. The code you provided works fine on its own, but I also have a +1 button in a sidebar and I can't get them to count separately in an archives page. The one in the sidebar should count the page clicks and the ones in the blog list should count by whichever blog it belongs to. But whenever I click one button, all of the buttons on the page--the sidebar button and all the blog buttons--change to the same values. I have tried entering the page URL in the button code in the sidebar, but that doesn't help. I am hoping someone has an idea. Thanks!

In the widget, just add the button code

and in the seperate posts, just use

Code: Select all

<g:plusone></g:plusone>

I'd already tried this with no success. I use the URL of the archive page in the widget and the google plusone button code in Template 1. If I click on any of the google plusone buttons on that page--the one in the sidebar widget or any of the blog buttons--all of the counts change to the same thing.

WP Socializer 2.0 is released with inbuilt Google +1 button support. Try it.

Go to the "Placement" tab. Choose/Insert the Google +1 button from the "Google buttons" menu.
