I fancy trying out your plugin and have uploaded it but its not working.
I may be at fault so I'm checking.
I'm also new to Wordpress so please bear with me.

I've uploaded to the Plugin Directory as you stated, but the other Folders, JS, Images and Languages, I am unsure about. Do I upload them as Folders in the Plugins Directory, or does the content of those 3 folders need to go into other folders. I don't know where they may exist if they do, so can you advise please.

I'm using 3.4 of Wordpress also.

- Just download the html-javascript-adder.zip file
- Extract the html-javascript-adder folder anywhere.
- Upload the folder to the plugins directory in your server.
- Don't bother about the inside folders.

Thanks. Yes i've already installed the plugin and uploaded the root directory into the plugins directory as you said. I uploaded all the folders there as well, but as it wasn't working, I took the folders out. So are you saying don't bother uploading the 3 Folders at all?

Sorry, just want to be clear. There is obviously JavaScript and Images in those folders, so I'm sure they need to be somewhere?

Follow the above procedure itself. Leave the 3 folders inside. Then goto the plugins page and activate the "HTML Javascript Adder" plugin. After that in the "Widgets" page, drag and drop the "HTML Javascript Adder" widget into the sidebar you need.

I guess there isn't much more you can do to assist and I reckon maybe it doesn't work with my theme, although all other plugins do. Thanks for attempting to help. I'll just remove it all now.

I still don't understand why HJA plugin don't work in your site. It is an ordinary widget and it should work as other plugin.
